DEMOGRAPHICS
Florida is home to the largest Peruvian community in the United States. The state has approximately 143,000 residents of Peruvian origin, representing around 18% of the total Peruvian population in the country. There are more than 34,600 Peruvians in Miami-Dade. 

Approximately 170,000 Peruvians travel to the United States annually, with Florida being their second most popular destination in the country. While the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau reports total international spending exceeding $1.15 billion—led primarily by Colombian and Brazilian visitors—Peruvians rank among the top 15 international source markets for tourism to Florida. 

The Miami metropolitan area is also home to a permanent community of more than 80,000 Peruvian-Americans, constituting the second-largest concentration of Peruvians in the U.S., after the New York metropolitan area. With a population of 33 million, Peru is the third-largest market in Latin America.

El área metropolitana de Miami alberga también una comunidad permanente de más de 80.000 peruano-estadounidenses, lo que constituye la segunda mayor concentración de peruanos en EE. UU., después del área metropolitana de Nueva York. Con una población de 33 millones de habitantes, Perú es el tercer mercado más grande de América Latina.
